Multiple Arrests in Guwahati Anti-Narcotics Operations

Two anti-narcotics operations in Guwahati resulted in the arrest of several narcotics peddlers.

In the first operation, the Special Task Force (STF) led by Inspector Kapil Pathak raided Garam Bazar in Dispur, apprehending two individuals with 29 vials containing 42 grams of suspected heroin. Additionally, five suspected stolen mobile phones and other items were recovered.

In the second operation, the West Guwahati Police District team from Fatasil Ambari Police Station arrested Amjad Ali of Jyotikuchi. They seized 3.44 grams of heroin in 20 plastic vials, Rs 25,000 in cash, and two mobile handsets from his residence. Legal action has been initiated against those involved.
