Multiple Injuries as Vehicle Crashes in Nagaon, Assam

A road mishap in Assam’s Nagaon district on Thursday night left several people, including children, injured. The incident occurred in the 11th Mile area when a speeding Scorpio vehicle veered off the road, colliding with a large tree and subsequently crashing through a tea plantation. The vehicle, traveling from Hojai to Nagaon, carried seven occupants, including two children. Eyewitnesses described the vehicle as being in high speed at the time of the crash. Prompt action from locals and passersby helped extricate the injured from the wreckage, who were then rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
