NEHARI Holds Training Workshop on Water Source Sustainability for Jal Jeevan Mission

NEHARI, in collaboration with NIH Roorkee, organized a five-day workshop on “Source Sustainability for Jal Jeevan Mission Schemes” for government officials from the North Eastern region. The training focused on conserving water sources like springs and streams to ensure year-round availability for rural households. Twenty-four officials participated, receiving lectures and field training on data collection, water quality testing, and sustainability interventions.
