Nepal Floods and Landslides Claim 112 Lives Amid Severe Rainfall

Floods and landslides triggered by heavy rains in Nepal have killed at least 112 people in the last 24 hours. Over 100 are injured, and 68 remain missing. More than 200 incidents of flooding and landslides have been reported, with the figure likely to rise. Around 3,000 security personnel are conducting rescue operations using helicopters and motorboats. Rivers near Kathmandu have overflowed, disrupting traffic and inundating homes. Major highways are blocked in 63 locations, and domestic flights are affected.
