Nepal Gen-Z Protest Death Toll Rises to 30, Over 1,000 Injured
Nepal’s Health Ministry reported that the death toll from the September 8 Gen-Z protest has climbed to 30, with 1,033 injuries recorded nationwide. Of the injured, 713 have been discharged, 55 referred to other facilities, and 253 remain admitted. Kathmandu’s Civil Service Hospital is treating the highest number at 436 patients, followed by the National Trauma Centre with 161 and Everest Hospital with 109, while 28 hospitals are engaged in treating the injured.
