Nestle India Trains 2,500 Assam Street Food Vendors on Hygiene and Safety

Nestlé India, in collaboration with Food Safety, Assam and NASVI, has trained over 2,500 street food vendors across 10 districts of Assam under its ‘Serve Safe Food’ project. The initiative, active in 26 states and 4 UTs, has so far benefited over 92,800 vendors nationwide by promoting hygiene, safe food practices, and entrepreneurship. Officials praised the effort for empowering local vendors and boosting food safety awareness.
