New Arrest Made in Indrani Tahbildar Suicide Case

Chandmari police arrested Kuldeep Das from Nalbari district on Monday in connection with the suicide of BJP leader Indrani Tahbildar, who tragically took her own life in August 2023. The incident occurred after an objectionable image of her went viral on social media, leading to mental distress. Four others have already been arrested in the case. In October 2023, police filed a chargesheet as new details emerged related to a cash-for-job scam, further illuminating the circumstances of her death.
