New Delhi bestows a Safety Shield award upon Northeast Frontier Railway

Following a high level of efficiency in terms of various safety parameters during 2022–2023—Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) and Southern Railway jointly received the Safety Shield Award at the recently concluded 68th Railway Week Awards, 2023. During a function on December 15 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Electronics, Information Technology, and Communications, gave the shield to General Managers of N F Railway Chetan Kumar Shrivastava and Southern Railway.

According to a press release, senior railway officials were present, along with Jaya Varma Sinha, the CEO and Chairperson of the Railway Board.
