New Picnic Spot Opens at Manas National Park, Assam

On December 20, a new picnic spot was inaugurated at Manas National Park, near the Beki River in Assam. Located in the Bahbari range, this site is designed to attract picnickers and nature enthusiasts.

Parking fees vary by vehicle type, with ample parking space available. Activities like safaris and rafting are offered, and the area features separate restrooms for men and women.

The Assam Police issued guidelines for picnickers, stressing road safety, the use of helmets, seat belts, and adherence to speed limits. Groups must inform local police stations of their trip details. Dangerous driving or alcohol consumption will result in legal action.
