NFR Names Maligaon Bihutoli After Zubeen Garg

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has named a newly developed cultural ground in Maligaon as “Zubeen Garg Railway Bihutoli” to honour legendary singer Zubeen Garg.

The venue features modern facilities and will host Rongali Bihu celebrations from April 14–17, 2026.

The inauguration event saw participation from officials and locals, while the singer’s family expressed gratitude. The move highlights NFR’s effort to promote regional culture.
