Nirmala Sitharaman to Visit Assam on November 7–8, Confirms CM Sarma

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will visit Assam on November 7 and 8. A preparatory meeting in Dispur reviewed arrangements for her visit. This will be Sitharaman’s second Northeast tour in four months. She recently stated that recent GST cuts have boosted consumption, with most grievances now being addressed by the CBIC.
