North East Military School Inaugurated in Bijni, Chirang

A North East Military School and hostel complex were inaugurated in Bijni, Chirang, by BTC chief Pramod Boro on Tuesday. He emphasized the institution’s role in preparing local youth for military careers and announced BTC’s full support. Plans for further military education expansion, including a Territorial Army school, are in progress.

Boro countered opposition claims, highlighting job regularization without corruption under his leadership, and criticized former BTC chief Hagrama Mohillary for lackluster performance during his tenure. Opposition leader Durga Das Boro accused Boro of neglecting BTR residents’ rights, allegations Boro firmly denied.
