NPS Teachers Renew Demand for Old Pension Scheme

The NPS Teachers & Employees Forum, led by Dr. Simanta Barua, renewed its call for the reintroduction of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). During a meeting in Sivasagar, members highlighted the hardships faced under NPS and demanded OPS for all teachers regularised between 2013 and 2021. The forum decided to submit a memorandum to the Chief Minister and Education Minister pressing their demands.
