NTPC-Bongaigaon Launches Key Community Projects in Kokrajhar District

The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)-Bongaigaon, located in Salakati, Kokrajhar district, inaugurated three significant community projects at Bashbari village under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

These projects include a Digital Anganwadi Centre aimed at providing modern early childhood education tools, benefiting approximately 30 children. Another initiative, a Smart Class at Bashbari High School, enhances learning for about 400 students through advanced educational technology. Additionally, solar panels and a waiting shed were installed at the community library, improving local infrastructure and services.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by District Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi, NTPC officials, and local dignitaries, emphasizing NTPC’s commitment to community development in Kokrajhar district.
