On December 16, Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad will stage a protest against NPS in Guwahati

On December 16, the Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) will hold a protest in Guwahati to call for the reinstatement of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and the cancellation of the National Pension System (NPS). “More than 200 associations, along with 52 SAKP district committees and teachers’ and other employees’ participation in the agitation,” stated SAKP president Dwipen Sarma.
