One Dead, Four Critical in Dibrugarh-Duliajan Road Accident

A tragic accident occurred on the Dibrugarh-Duliajan route as a vehicle (AS06AK 8716) plunged into the Sessa riverbed due to dense fog. Ishan Gogoi (27) lost his life, with his body recovered by the NDRF. Four others—Akhiraj Gogoi (28), Tridip Gogoi (30), Latu Gogoi (26), and Biplab Gogoi (28)—remain critical at Assam Medical College.

The group, returning from a wedding, veered off a bridge in poor visibility. Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution during adverse weather. The incident has deeply impacted the Tamulikhat, Tengakhat community.
