One killed in Azara in a tragic incident by a truck

A four-wheeler Alto in Azara near a private university was crushed by a truck on Saturday afternoon, resulting in a tragic incident where one person lost their life. Partha Pratim Das, a resident of Mirza under Palasbari LAC, was identified as the deceased.

In accordance with eyewitnesses, the deceased was driving a car on NH 17 close to the Azara area when it lost control and was hit by a truck travelling from Jalukbari that had the licence plate AS-01-AV-9673. Three more people were admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in critical condition.
