One Killed, Two Injured in Truck Collision in Dhubri

One person died and two others were injured after two goods-laden trucks collided head-on at Shyam Bazar in Golakganj, Dhubri district, on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Shakil from Uttar Pradesh. The injured, including Raja Ram and the driver of the brick-laden truck, were admitted to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital.

According to reports, the brick-laden truck allegedly lost control due to overspeeding and overloading before crashing into the oncoming truck. Police reached the spot and started an investigation.

Local residents blamed reckless driving and overloaded vehicles for the accident and demanded stricter action against traffic violations.
