Over 1 Lakh Apply for Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan 2.0

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that over 1 lakh applications have been received for the second phase of Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan (CMAAA 2.0), covering all 35 districts. Over 81,200 applicants have already been interviewed. The initiative aims to boost youth entrepreneurship and self-employment.

Sarma also reviewed progress under Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, targeting financial aid for 25 lakh women to promote rural micro-entrepreneurship. He urged officials to speed up backend processes for timely fund disbursal.

Additionally, DCs were directed to finalize dates for flood relief, microfinance waivers, and student welfare schemes.
