Patient Mysteriously Disappears from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital

In a shocking incident, a patient named Birsa Kerketa, receiving medical treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), has mysteriously gone missing. Birsa, a resident of Hattigor Tea Estate in Udalguri district, was admitted to GMCH on July 4, 2024, for a surgery related to a previous head injury. He disappeared while his brothers were talking to the doctors. The Bhangagarh police station and GMCH authorities were promptly informed, and a search operation was initiated, but Birsa remains untraced. His sudden disappearance has left his family in distress, and they have appealed for any information to locate him. This incident adds to the list of similar disappearances at GMCH, including cases from Tamulpur and Silchar, which also remain unresolved.
