PM Modi Launches ₹4,500 Crore Infrastructure Projects for Bodoland and Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually launched and laid the foundation for infrastructure and connectivity projects worth over ₹4,500 crore for the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) region and other parts of Assam. Key initiatives include the ₹3,200 crore Assam Mala 3.0 road project covering over 900 km of roads, and six road projects worth ₹1,100 crore in Kokrajhar, including four flyovers and two bridges. Modi also laid the foundation for a ₹255 crore railway POH workshop at Bashbari and flagged off three new train services to improve connectivity between the Northeast and other regions. The projects aim to boost connectivity, trade, and economic development in the region.
