PM Modi to Inaugurate New Guwahati Airport Terminal, Launch Namrup Fertiliser Project

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon inaugurate the new terminal of Guwahati’s LGBI Airport and lay the foundation stone for a ₹10,601-crore Ammonia-Urea complex at Namrup. The terminal will handle over 1.3 crore passengers annually, boosting regional connectivity. The fertiliser project aims to modernise production, support farmers, reduce imports, and create jobs in Assam. Dates for the visit will be announced after coordination with the state government.
