PM Modi to Launch ₹8,000-Crore Projects in Assam on Sept 8

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam on September 8 to launch infrastructure projects worth ₹8,000 crore. These include the Darrang Medical College, a Brahmaputra bridge between Kuruwa and Narengi, and the Guwahati ring road. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed the event at Kamarpara near Mangaldai, where Modi will address a public meeting. Modi will also attend Bhupen Hazarika’s birth anniversary in Guwahati the same day.
