PM Modi to Lead BJP’s Mega Campaign for Assam Polls

The BJP has announced a large-scale campaign strategy for the Assam Assembly elections, with 40 star campaigners including Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and Himanta Biswa Sarma. The Prime Minister is expected to hold 4–5 rallies, while Amit Shah may attend up to 8 events.

The party will conduct rallies, roadshows, and grassroots outreach across constituencies, including BTC and autonomous council areas. A major rally by Modi is scheduled on April 1 at Gogamukh.

Focusing on development, governance, and welfare, the BJP is also targeting first-time voters, tea garden communities, and rural regions ahead of polling on April 9.
