Police Intercept Truck Transporting Cattle Illegally; Three Arrested

A team from the Jorabat Outpost of Basistha Police Station in the East Guwahati Police District intercepted a truck with registration number AS 01 KC 9657 at the Jorabat crossing. Upon inspection, twenty cattle were found on board, destined for Meghalaya. Phulchand Khan (35) of Sarthebari, Jahidul Islam (30) of Baghbar, and Baser Ali (24) of Baghbar were apprehended, and legal proceedings have commenced.
