Police Joint Operation in Dhubri District Leads to Arrest and Seizure of Arms

A coordinated effort by Sapatgram Police Station, Nayahat Police Outpost, and Bilasipara Police resulted in the apprehension of a notorious miscreant and the recovery of a pistol and ammunition in the Dhemdhema area of Dhubri District. The operation led to the arrest of Hafiz Uddin Sheikh and the seizure of a 7.65 mm pistol along with five rounds of live ammunition. Sheikh, a resident of Fakiragram, was found in possession of the firearm. Furthermore, a Santro vehicle suspected to be linked with a gang of miscreants was confiscated. The police are actively pursuing other members of the gang, and investigations are ongoing.
