Police Seize Rs 4 Crore Worth of Cannabis in Karbi Anglong, Assam

Khatkhati Police seized a large consignment of cannabis worth approximately Rs 4 crore in Bokajan, Karbi Anglong district, following specific intelligence inputs. During the raid, police intercepted a truck with West Bengal registration WB 76 B 2883 and found 75 packets of cannabis weighing around eight quintals.

Radheshyam Sahni from Motihari, Bihar, was arrested in connection with the smuggling operation. The successful seizure highlights the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the region. Police are conducting a detailed investigation to uncover further links and dismantle the broader smuggling network.
