Probe Ordered After 5-Year-Old Student Dies in Cachar School

Authorities have launched an investigation into the death of a five-year-old student at a private school in Katigorah, Cachar district.
The child, identified as Sakib Alom of Gangapur, reportedly collapsed during tiffin break while eating food in the classroom at Holy Flower Senior Secondary School. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Cachar district officials and the Inspector of Schools have started a detailed inquiry into the incident. The tragedy has sparked concerns over student safety and supervision, while the school management admitted there may have been partial negligence in handling the situation.
