Protests Erupt in Dhemaji Over Murder of Bikash Chetry

Hundreds protested outside Machkhowa police outpost in Dhemaji, demanding justice for Bikash Chetry, a pharmacy owner fatally assaulted on May 19. Various local organizations joined the march from Borpak Nepali Gaon to the outpost. Protesters called for a high-level probe and arrest of all culprits. Officials assured action. Two suspects have been arrested so far.
