Public Holiday Declared in Four Lok Sabha Constituencies of Assam

The Governor of Assam has declared May 7, 2024, a public holiday in four Lok Sabha constituencies – Guwahati, Kokrajhar (ST), Dhubri, and Barpeta. This declaration encompasses the closure of government/non-government offices, educational institutions, businesses, and commercial establishments within these constituencies under the N.I. Act, 1881.
