Python Rescued from Backyard in Demow

Demow, Sivasagar: A python was rescued from the backyard of Deep Konwar at Demow Konwar Dehingia Gaon on Sunday after residents spotted the snake climbing a tree. The sighting drew several locals to the area.

Local resident Lattu Bhattacharjee, along with members of the Deep Konwar family, safely rescued the python and handed it over to the Forest Department for necessary action.
