R.G. Baruah Memorial Awards 2025 Presented to Eminent Personalities

Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya presented the R.G. Baruah Memorial Awards 2025 to Padmashree D.N. Bezboruah (Journalism), Padmashree Jahnu Barua (Culture), Dr Narendra Nath Dutta (Business), and Larsing L.D. Sawyan (Sports). Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Assam Tribune MD Babita Rajkhowa attended the event. The Governor praised the awardees’ contributions and urged the media to uphold truth and responsibility.
