Rail Meet 2025 Adopts 23 Resolutions to Boost Northeast Railway Connectivity

The Rail Meet 2025 in Guwahati, organized by ARPA, adopted 23 resolutions to enhance railway development across eight Northeastern states. Key proposals include forming a composite Zonal Railway, restructuring divisions, creating a new Badarpur division, introducing EMU/MEMU services, restoring pre-COVID trains, and improving passenger amenities. The resolutions will be submitted to the PMO, Railway Ministry, NFR, and Assam government for approval.
