Railway Protection Force Rescues Minors, Intensifies Efforts Against Trafficking

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of N.F. Railway conducted successful operations from March 22 to 25, 2024, rescuing four minors and providing medical assistance to a girl. In February 2024, 41 minor boys and girls and 8 women were rescued by the NFR RPF. Recent efforts on March 24 led to the joint rescue of two minors at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and the medical aid provided to a girl at Dimapur Railway Station. On March 22, one minor girl and a boy were rescued in Guwahati, while another minor girl was rescued in New Tinsukia. The RPF emphasizes preventive measures against child trafficking and remains vigilant in protecting railway passengers.
