Rescued Elephants Thrive and Delight Tourists in Manas National Park

Three rescued elephants from Udalguri — Pompi, Nageswar and Lili — are now healthy and well adapted to Manas National Park, officials confirmed. The trio has become a major tourist attraction, often approaching visitors and accepting food gently.

Forest authorities say the growing wild elephant population and successful rehabilitation efforts reflect improving wildlife conditions in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pompi, Nageswar and Lili have quickly become favourites among tourists visiting the park.
