Residents Demand Green Bus Service to Guwahati

Udalguri: Residents of Tangla, Bhergaon and Dimakuchi have urged the Assam Government to introduce green bus services connecting the region with Guwahati. They said the service would provide affordable, comfortable and eco-friendly transportation for commuters, students, patients and business travellers.

Locals believe the proposed route would reduce dependence on private vehicles, lower carbon emissions and ease traffic congestion. They have appealed to Assam Transport Minister Charan Boro and the state government to include the area in future green transport expansion plans.
