Rongagora Erupts in Protest After Youth Dies Hitting Pole on Road

A 28-year-old, Shiva Nayak, died after crashing into an electric pole placed dangerously in the middle of a road in Rongagora, Behali. Locals, blaming APDCL and PWD contractor Nameri Construction for negligence, blocked traffic with his body, demanding immediate removal of the pole and compensation. This marks the fourth major accident at the spot. Officials rushed to the site, but protestors refused to budge without concrete action.
