RPF Launches New System to Track Lost Phones Without FIR

The Railway Protection Force (RPF), with DoT, has launched a system for reporting lost mobiles via RailMadad or 139. Passengers can also register on the CEIR portal without filing an FIR. RPF cyber cells will block such phones, and owners can reclaim them with valid proof. The move follows a successful pilot in Northeast Frontier Railway.
