Russia Fires ICBM at Ukraine Amid Rising Tensions

Russia launched an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) at Ukraine, marking a major escalation in the conflict. The missile, with a conventional warhead, targeted Dnipro, causing extensive damage to homes and infrastructure.

The attack follows Western nations providing Ukraine with long-range missiles, enabling strikes on Russian territory. While Ukraine intercepted six Russian missiles, it remains unclear if the ICBM was among them.

Russia’s move, paired with its nuclear doctrine allowing weapons use against non-nuclear nations, signals growing hostility and dimming prospects for diplomacy.
