Sales for Asomi SARAS Mela total Rs 8.75 crore.

According to Assam Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development (P&RD), Ranjeet Kumar Dass, the Asomi SARAS Mela 2023–24 recorded total sales of Rs 8 crore and 75 lakh between December 23, 2023, and January 5, 2024.

The minister stated the event was a huge success and said the state’s self-help groups that took part in the Asomi SARAS Mela this year made sales of Rs 5 crore, 53 lakh, while the other states’ self-help groups made sales of Rs 3 crore, 22 lakh. Additionally, he disclosed that 1201 digital payments totaling Rs 99 lakh and 10,000 were made to the sellers during this event.
