SBI Staff Association Distributes ₹14 Lakh Relief in Sivasagar

The State Bank of India Staff Association (SBISA) has distributed relief materials worth around ₹14 lakh among nearly 500 flood-affected people in Bihubar Nepali Khuti area of Nazira, Sivasagar. The assistance included mosquito nets, clothing, bed covers, mekhela chadors and other essential items.

The relief initiative was led by the SBI Staff Association’s Jorhat Division, North-East Circle, with support from the Bengal Circle. Separately, the National Bank Employees’ Council handed over a cheque of ₹8.20 lakh to the Sivasagar District Commissioner to support flood-affected families across the district.
