SC Rights Group Seeks Action Against Assam Officials Using Fake Caste Certificates

The Anusuchit Jati Sangrami Yuba Parishad (AJSYP) has urged the President, Prime Minister, and Chief Justice of India to dismiss eight Assam officials accused of using fake caste certificates. Both the CID and State Level Scrutiny Committee found them guilty, yet no action has been taken. AJSYP president Sanjib Das said genuine SC individuals are being deprived as the accused continue in service. The group also demanded criminal prosecution and action against others allegedly employed or admitted under false caste claims.
