Second Woman Arrested in GMCH Infant Sale Case

Bhangagarh police arrested Chompi Basumatary from Garchuk for her alleged role in selling infants. The arrest follows Munu’s earlier detention for mediating a newborn’s sale near GMCH. The baby was sold post the mother’s discharge, but the parents remain unidentified. Investigations are ongoing.
