Security Breach Averted at India-Bangladesh Border in Assam

A potential security breach at the India-Bangladesh border in Assam’s Dhubri district was narrowly avoided when 10-15 Bangladeshi nationals attempted to enter Indian territory through Bhogdanga and Faushkarkuti villages. The Border Security Force (BSF) and local police responded swiftly, deploying additional personnel to secure the area and prevent escalation. Efforts are ongoing to coordinate with the Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) to push back the intruders. This incident follows Assam DGP GP Singh’s warning of strict action against illegal entry attempts.
