Security Guard Dies of Heatstroke While on Duty at Cement Factory in Karimganj

In a shocking incident, Amar Sinha, a 38-year-old security guard at the Badarpur Ghat BVCL Cement Factory in Karimganj, died of heatstroke while on duty on Sunday. Sinha, who was stationed at the main gate of the Barak Valley Cement Factory in the Jumbasti area of Badarpur Ghat, collapsed and was rushed to a nearby hospital by his co-workers, where he was declared dead.
