Seven Arrested for Alleged Illegal Cattle Slaughter in Dhubri

Dhubri: Seven persons were arrested during a police raid at Modergola in Jhagrarpar Part-IV on June 23 for allegedly engaging in illegal cattle slaughter. The operation was carried out by Dhubri Police based on specific intelligence inputs.

Police seized a cattle carcass, around 90 kg of suspected beef, and tools allegedly used in the slaughtering process. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to determine if the accused are linked to a larger illegal network.
