Six Child Labourers Rescued in Guwahati’s Basistha Area

Six children were rescued from hazardous workplaces in Guwahati’s Basistha area in a joint operation by ACRD, the District Child Labour Task Force, DCPU, Childline, and NGOs. The minors underwent medical checks and will be presented to the Child Welfare Committee for rehabilitation. Investigations are ongoing to take action against the employers.
