Sonapur Higher Secondary School Gets ₹8.03 Crore Infrastructure Upgrade

Sonapur: Sonapur Higher Secondary School has received an infrastructure upgrade involving a total expenditure of ₹8.03 crore, according to Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu. The investment is aimed at providing students with a more modern and improved learning environment.

The institution, originally established as Sonapur Middle English School on May 15, 1952, was upgraded to a Higher Secondary School in 1977. Today, the school serves nearly 1,000 students with 37 teaching and non-teaching staff and has contributed to the educational development of the greater Sonapur region for more than seven decades.
