Sonitpur District Road Safety Committee Reviews June Actions and Sets New Directives

The District Road Safety Committee (DRSC) meeting for June was chaired by District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra at the District Commissioner’s Office in Sonitpur, Tezpur. The meeting began with a review of the Action Taken Report on previous decisions. Discussions covered the status of digital traffic signal installation and maintenance, road maintenance, the Bus Bay and Service Road at Mission Chariali, traffic law enforcement, and the removal of illegal roadside encroachments. The District Commissioner emphasized that e-rickshaws are not permitted on highways.
