In a collaborative effort, the Sri Sathya Sai (SSS) Alumni of Assam and Sri Sathya Sai Samiti, Dhubri, joined hands with the Cardiological Society of India (CSI-NE Chapter) to organize a free mega cardiology camp at Mahamaya M.E School, Bogribari, in Dhubri district on Sunday. Renowned cardiologists, including Dr. Neil Bardoloi, Dr. Chandan Modak, Dr. MK Sutradhar, Dr. Banajit Chaudhary, and Dr. B.B Kureja, provided free consultations to patients with cardiac problems. A total of 530 patients underwent comprehensive heart check-ups, and a range of free services were offered, including free medicines and investigations such as lipid profile, RBS, BP, and ECG as needed.

The cardiologists used the platform to encourage people to adopt a healthy lifestyle and take a proactive approach to preventive healthcare. They stressed the importance of regular screening, health check-ups, lifestyle changes, and follow-ups with consultants to lead a stress-free life. Dr. Dina Raza, representing SSS Alumni, Assam, along with other associate members, expressed gratitude to the local samiti members, CRPF personnel, and members of ‘The Heart’ for their unwavering support in conducting the camp and providing valuable services to the community.
